Overture Classes
Badge unlocks, kits, and raid roles for the open beta roster.
Overture is live on Roblox as an open beta from Reb’s Community. Servers hold 25 players. Combat is online multiplayer boss fighting with regenerating health and a stamina bar instead of HOURS Tempos. The class you pick is the entire identity of a run: you walk into Erlking, Cazerdus, HOURS mode, or Timeless with one kit, and that kit decides whether you clash, snipe, stunlock, or get folded by ping.
This hub is the roster map. Full kits live on the class pages. Rankings live on the class tier list and the boss tier list under the tier list hub. If you still need the first-hour loop, start with getting started and controls on the guides hub.
Official badge unlocks
Overture publishes raid badges on the Roblox place page. Treat these as the only official class gates unless a later patch adds more.
- Redcliff — Beat Erlking on Normal. Easy does not count. Knight kit, clash, and cutscene notes: Redcliff.
- Vestige — Beat Resident Mind on any difficulty (Light Beneath Closed Eyes / HOURS finale). Ranged kit: Vestige.
- Subject — Beat Resident Mind on Hard. Real badge path. We do not invent a full kit on this wiki.
- Epikninja — Beat Cazerdus on any difficulty. Same rule: unlock is official, kit page is not.
Use the class unlock guide and the class unlock tracker on the tools hub when you are grinding a specific badge instead of rereading this list.
Starter and featured classes
Invader is the HOURS-style rushdown starter. Base-character Erlking solos usually open with Invader, Prophet, and Witness. The dash question every new player asks is real: hold W, then press Q to dash forward. Invader is the comfort pick if you already know HOURS, not an automatic raid carry.
Bloxxer — also called Bloxxerman in lobbies — is the polarizing carry. Community clears talk about stunlock, knockback spam, omni-immunity windows, and enough damage to drag a messy 25-player raid across the finish. Fun, loud, and not a gacha roll. People either want one on the team or they mute the lobby.
Drifter is a community unlock: Timeless wave 20 with no deaths. Auto-parry covers direct and base attacks and does not cover ranged or area attacks. Some players treat that auto-parry as a curse because it burns charges on hits you could have walked around. The kit still posts strong Erlking and Cazerdus solos, and it has been reworked at least once.
Vestige is the ranged HOURS host: Blast, Snipe, Backflip, Slam, and crit-magic healing on Blast. Keep distance. If ping makes projectiles lie, this class feels worse than the page ranking suggests.
Redcliff is Overture’s own knight, not a HOURS echo. Unlock it from Erlking on Normal, then bring clash and counter tools back into the same raid. High-view no-death clears exist. The class is the reason a lot of players even finish Normal.
Early hosts with full pages
Witness is the ukulele generalist: Bash, Kick, Shield, Smite. Public Cazerdus deathless footage exists. He is the safer first-hour passenger next to Invader.
Prophet is the slow spear tank: Stab, Heavy Strike, regen charges. Base-character Erlking solos include him. You wait for a real sit or you eat the blind spot.
Names you will still see in videos
Equinox, Hot Rash, Rider, Heartbroken, and Trickshot appear in walkthroughs and comment sections. Rider is the glass-cannon joke that is not a joke: 40 HP. We list those names so the roster does not look smaller than the beta. We do not invent full kits for them.
Donation gamepass cheat menu names you will hear: ClassDen (Erlking kit; spawning the actual boss form sits around 6000 HP) and ClassCaz (Cazerdus). That menu can also force locked classes, including the featured five. It skips the badge. It does not make the ranked ladder pay-to-win. Rankings on this wiki assume you earned the kit.
How to pick a class today
Overture is a skill-based boss fighter. First-clear ease, team value, and solo viability in the September 2026 beta beat fashion. Bloxxer, Drifter, and Redcliff sit high on raid bosses. Vestige is the range answer. Invader is the HOURS comfort pick. Read the class rankings before you grind a badge you will hate, then check boss rankings for the fight you actually queued.
Ping is real. Parry windows are real. A 25-player public lobby can still wipe on Normal. Codes and scripts are separate hubs if that is the search you came in on. Updates tracks patches that rework kits. Official links points at the Roblox place and community boards. Learn the buttons on controls before you blame the class.
Frequently Asked Questions
Codes, class unlocks, modes, and raid questions in short form.
Which Overture class should I play first?
Start on Invader if you know HOURS or you want a rushdown kit with a forward dash. Queue Redcliff as soon as you beat Erlking on Normal. Use the class tier list if you care about first-clear ease rather than nostalgia.
How do I unlock Redcliff, Vestige, Subject, and Epikninja?
Official badges: Redcliff from Erlking on Normal, Vestige from Resident Mind on any difficulty, Subject from Resident Mind on Hard, Epikninja from Cazerdus on any difficulty. Step-by-step routes live on the unlock classes guide.
How do I unlock Drifter in Overture?
Does the donation gamepass skip class unlocks?
The donation cheat menu can force classes, including exclusive Erlking (ClassDen) and Cazerdus (ClassCaz). Rankings on this wiki still assume badge or community unlocks. See scripts only for client questions; this hub does not document injectors.
Is Overture single-player?
No. It is online multiplayer with 25-player servers. You can solo a raid instance, but the game is not a single-player only fighter. Getting started covers how a public lobby actually feels.
