Overture Redcliff

Knight class. Beat Erlking on Normal, then clash the same raid.

Overture Redcliff Class Guide

Redcliff is Overture’s own knight. It is not a HOURS echo with a new hat. The official badge is printed on the Roblox place page: defeat Erlking on Normal and the class unlocks. Easy does not count. A 25-player carry still counts. After that, the joke is that the class you unlocked from the raid is the class that makes the raid make sense.

High-view no-death solos exist. Facade’s Redcliff clear is the clip a lot of players found the game through. The video on this page is a different kind of proof: a long silent solo set that ends on Redcliff after Invader, Prophet, and Witness. Both are saying the same thing. The knight is real, the clash is real, and you do not need a gacha banner to get here. You need Normal.

Read this next to Bloxxer, Drifter, and Vestige on the classes hub and the class tier list. Redcliff sits high for bosses because clash and counter are fight-specific tools, not fashion. Ping can still throw the window. A donation menu can still skip the badge. Neither fact moves the ranking if you actually have to press the button.

Unlock, with the easy-mode trap

  • Queue Erlking on Normal.
  • Finish the fight. Solo or full 25. Deaths along the way still award the badge as long as the raid completes; the no-death clips are pride, not the requirement.
  • Easy is for learning telegraphs. Easy is not the badge.
  • Confirm Redcliff in class select. If it is missing, you did not beat Normal.

Bring whatever you already own. Invader greed works and is a bad teacher. Vestige range works and keeps you alive. Bloxxer works and will make the lobby less educational. Drifter works if you already did the Timeless dare. Prophet and Witness show up in base-character solos; we do not invent kits for them here. After the badge, stop using the unlock class as a crutch and learn clash on the class you just earned.

The unlock classes guide and the class unlock tool list Redcliff next to Vestige, Subject, and Epikninja. Getting started and controls if you still need the stamina loop.

Clash and counter, without a fake frame chart

Redcliff is a counter / clash knight. Community tech that has survived comment corrections:

  • You can clash specific Erlking answers instead of eating them. Coffin bash is the famous one. A charged bat bash into that animation is the clip people chase. It dumps a large chunk of the boss and is why Redcliff first-clears look shorter than Invader first-clears.
  • Requiem (the late-phase coffin / toss line) has extra clash talk. One detailed comment claimed you can clash on a fully charged bash versus requiem and you are guaranteed to lose health at the end of that interaction. Play like the nuke is not free.
  • Clash is not a once-per-raid button. Players have landed multiple coffin punishes in a single attempt. If you save it forever, you are playing Vestige with extra steps.
  • Erlking’s own counter still hurts. Walking into it because you wanted a clash is how knights donate the run.
  • Using Redcliff puts your avatar into the cutscene. That is a vanity flag and a warning: the game knows you came back as the class the raid unlocked.

We are not going to print a 801-damage screenshot as a law. Numbers move. The idea does not: Redcliff is allowed to answer the boss’s big melee the way Drifter is allowed to auto-parry the small melee. Different answers. Different spends.

Why it is a high boss class

First-clear ease on Erlking after the badge is the whole argument. You already saw the fight once. Now you have a kit that was built for the fight’s melee verbs. Team value is the same sentence in a 25-player lobby: one knight who can clash coffin is worth more than four people who cannot. Solo viability is proven on camera. That is S-adjacent for this raid in the September 2026 beta, sitting with Bloxxer stun and Drifter parry, above Invader greed.

Cazerdus is not Redcliff’s homework assignment, but a knight who already learned not to eat lunges will live. Epikninja is still the Cazerdus badge. Bring clash habits, not Erlking muscle memory, or you will try to bat a shuriken.

HOURS mode does not care that you are a knight. The campaign still wants Invader comfort or Vestige range. Wear Redcliff there if you like the skin. Do not expect coffin tech versus Equinox.

Timeless is a wave mode. Clash needs a boss that clashes. Packs do not. If you are hunting the community Drifter unlock, Redcliff is a pride run, not the default lock.

Ping, parry, and the donation skip

Clash is a timing class. High ping turns a punish into a double hit. If your Erlking solos only work at 2 a.m. on an empty server, that is information, not shame. Drifter auto-parry has the same honesty. Bloxxer forgives more because stun does not need a perfect window to look like a carry.

The donation cheat menu can force Redcliff, the rest of the featured roster, exclusive ClassDen (Erlking kit; actual boss spawn around 6000 HP), and ClassCaz. Forcing Redcliff skips Normal. It also skips the only rehearsal that makes clash make sense. Rankings on this wiki do not treat the menu as a skill. Scripts will not time the bat for you.

Practice loop after the badge

  1. Watch the Redcliff segment of the video on this page so you know what the kit looks like in a silent solo, then go fight. Do not lab a clip forever.
  2. One Erlking where your only goal is to clash coffin once and live. Not a speed kill. A successful answer.
  3. One attempt where you go for a second clash. Confirm it is not a once-per-raid myth on your patch.
  4. One public Normal where you are the knight and not the entire lobby’s DPS. Let Vestige hold a side tile. Let Bloxxer be loud if they must.
  5. Then read boss rankings and decide whether you are a Redcliff main or a Redcliff specialist who still queues Drifter on Cazerdus.

Updates is where clash rules would be patched. Codes will not add a second bat. Official links is the place page and the community boards. Redcliff stays featured because Overture needed a class that belongs to this game, and the knight is the one the raid itself hands you. Earn Normal. Then make Normal look smaller.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Codes, class unlocks, modes, and raid questions in short form.

How do I unlock Redcliff?

Beat Erlking on Normal. Easy does not count. Solo or a 25-player lobby both work. Full badge list: unlock classes.

What is Redcliff's identity?

A knight built around counter and clash, especially versus Erlking coffin and related late-phase melee. It is not a HOURS host. Compare it with Drifter auto-parry and Bloxxer stun on the class tier list.

Can I clash more than once per raid?

Yes. Community testing says coffin punishes are not a single-use gimmick. Requiem clash talk includes a health tax at the end, so do not treat every nuke as free. See beat Erlking.

Does using Redcliff change the cutscene?

Yes. Your avatar shows up in the Erlking cutscene when you queue the knight. Vanity, and a reminder you already beat Normal once.

Should I force Redcliff with the donation menu?

You can. You will skip the only fight that teaches clash. Rankings still assume the badge. Exclusive ClassDen is a different kit with boss-scale health, not Redcliff.

Is Redcliff good on Cazerdus and Timeless?

Playable. Not the homework. Cazerdus likes Drifter or Bloxxer. Timeless wants a kit that likes packs, not coffin.
